**Registration will open for the next session in a few weeks and two classes will be offered beginning in September. classes sell fast, email to be put on the mailing list to receive immediate notification of new registration.

Classes will introduce students to the fundamentals of belly dance while giving strong emphasis upon correct MidEastern/Arab technique and understanding cultural drum patterns. It is an excellent course for currently enrolled Level 1 students who wish to continue, for the new beginner, or for any student with one year or less of prior experience. On-going class focusing on fundamental movements and drum patterns of Arab and Mid-Eastern style. For the very new beginner or any student with one year or less of training-excellent supplement for more experienced dancers to polish technique.

Students will be introduced to the art and technique of sword balancing (though cane or stick can be substituted) while also learning and polishing layering techniques. Traditional music will be used, incoporating drum solos of Lebanese, Egyptian, and Turkish tradition.
